WONKI becomes WONKY and ‘all change’ after days creating in beautiful Madrid!

After much sunshine and much more peace than in vibrant but very busy London! Rach made some new decisions with the help of a clever friend called Luis.

1st decision………… is to spell WONKY correctly…even though most people get it when stories travel and people translate they will not find the real explanation for WONKI, we want WONKY to go big..worldwide so bye bye wonki.

2nd Decision……………new creations!! Little King Caleb became much bigger lets just call him BIG KING CALEB then, almost 18 in fact, he recommended making the scary wonkys MUCH MORE SCARY. Great fun…will  show the photos later! Also I met some crazy party people and also designed my collection of ¨naughty wonkys¨

3rd Decision…..complete name change from WONKI-DECO and hello PLANET WONKY, yes…its a planet, a new planet…a recycled world actually..the world but done WONKY STYLEE!

THE WONKIS MOVE TO MADRID

THE WONKIS GET BORED OF THE RAIN AND DECIDE TO GO TO FIND A NEW LIFE IN MADRID…………IT STILL RAINS BUT NOT AS MUCH AS IN LONDON  :-)HOORAH SAY THE WONKIS !!!!!!!!!!!

The beginning!!!!

 Introducing the WONKI-TOYS

These are the wonkis below, they were born in WEST LONDON : Latimer Road to be precise in 2005. Life wasn’t easy at Latimer Road W10 There was a lot of grey sky, rain, death, misunderstandings….very rich…very poor without much inbetween or any understanding of how or why those people got to be in those situations?… people falling out of the council blocks…. danger!… it wasn’t always a very happy playground for the wonkis.

BUT..looking on the bright side they had fun in the shops there!! made loads of friends, and they could occasionally  escape to Holland Park…it wasn’t far and they had dinosaur friends who lived in the gardens there with an aardvark called Daniel…Finally  If escape was not possible they could always hang out in King Calebs Den with the Lego and the Pirates.

The best of the west experience was that …they did go to some of the best parties, they didn’t happen so often but when they did..They were BIG, GENEROUS PARTIES….eat till you POP..drink till you…PUKE……………and somebody always has to carry you home afterwards.

The WONKIS were born from a lady called Rach who had the help of the wild imagination of Little king Caleb. ‘Little’ because he was little (5 years old)…. ‘King’ because he had noble thoughts and was very clever and kind! And ‘Caleb’…because that’s his name!!  Rach was upset at all the animals going extinct in the world so…. to help raise awareness of this tragedy and hopefully remind people to THINK TWICE before they make a mess on this planet- she designed toys based on animals going extinct…………Little King Caleb also designed some characters he thought should join in ..They were not based on animals but anything that arrived to his mind in an instant.wonki-catalogue
